How Many Website Visitors Came To Your Site Today?

2

There are many ways to make money online I could write about. Finding the right one for you will take a little bit of time and probably will mean getting a blog or website set up.

Once you have that done with a product to sell your focus should be on driving traffic to it. Every night before you go to bed you should ask yourself the question “how many visitors came to my website today”?

Sadly most people spend the majority of their Internet marketing day goofing off or doing cosmetic things that really don’t help that much. Watching people add a new graphic or change the color of their site is somewhat depressing when you know they are not going to make more money.

The bottom line with Internet marketing today is traffic is king! You are not going to make any sales if you do not have enough visitors coming to your site everyday. If you do not make any sales you’re not going to make any money.

There are many ways to make sales and create income for yourself. Pay per click is a business model that allows you to get paid when people click on ads.

Pay per lead programs generate income for yourself when people fill out lead forms. Neither one of these require your visitor to purchase anything for you to earn money.

However regardless of how simple these two business models are it still comes down to getting people to your website or blog. You cannot convert them into income for yourself until they get there.

Probably the best thing you can do is focus on one form of traffic generation and learn it inside out. A good example of this is people who do pay per click advertising. The most successful Internet marketers know this form of advertising inside and out.

That just means they have taken the time to understand everything about this type of advertising. They can confidently set up a PPC campaign and have it generate more money coming in than they are spending going out.

I have seen the same thing from people doing traffic exchanges. Some people love to surf traffic exchanges and earn credits to promote their products. They have become good at using this traffic method to get quality visitors that they create income from.
In summary you need to ask yourself how many visitors came to your site today! If you don’t like the answer you need to start working on traffic generation methods.

    Hi Imran,

Driving traffic to my website is an on going task for me. I don’t want to sound negative but I’ve seen my alexa ranking dropped by more than a million since the last few weeks.

I am back to to building backlings, forum posting and blog commenting. These methods have proven to be a good source of traffic generation and also a way to push my website up the SERPS.

Thanks for the challenging article. I should be back to my original position in a few weeks hopefully.

Yes you are right “building backlings, forum posting and blog commenting” are very good ways to make a traffics and pushing your rank on alexa. but sending your a fresh articles to the Directories is another story it’s also very good way.

and anybody should post a fresh article on his Blog regularly this is a very good way to get Google attention and helping you to push your position on Google page.

sadly lately I am not posting a new articles on my site regularly, but I will.

    Best Regards,
    Imran
